I'm my first year at Sriwijaya Senior High School. It's a big school with eighteen classes. There are also big canteens where I usually have lunch with my classmates. The principal, teachers and staff at my school are all kind, friendly and helpful. I have also met new good friends. In class, chemistry and arts are my favorite subjects.
I live with my parents in Palembang, the capital of South Sumatra Province. We live in a traditional wooden house, called rumah gadang and me. Our house has three bedrooms, and each for my parents, my sister and me. There are rambutan, mango and durian trees. It also has a large yard where fruit trees grow well.
In my spare time, I like surfing the Internet. I frequently sign in to social networks to keep in touch with my friends, especially those who are away, check my e-mails or browse materials for my homework. Besides, I also visit websites which provide information about beautiful places in the world. You know, I have a dream to travel to other countries and visit those beautiful places.
I also like watching movies. My favorites are action and trilogy movies. If there is a newly released action movie at the cinema, I will surely watch it. I have favorite actors like Vin Diesel and Robert Downey Junior. From Indonesia, I like Iko Uwais, Joe Taslim and Ario Bayu. They are really great actors. I wish I could have a chance to meet them.

There are many different types of people living in my neighborhood. They come from different ethnic backgrounds and countries. Many have been living in my neighborhood for a decade or so, while some have just moved in.
