Personal Letter: Studying Abroad Experience
Text
Dear Sarah, I hope this letter finds you well. I want to share something exciting with you. Recently, I was accepted into a student exchange program in Japan for six months. It has always been my dream to experience studying abroad and learn about another country’s education system.
The classes here are very different from what we have back home. Students are highly disciplined, and technology is used in almost every subject. For example, even in literature classes, digital platforms are applied to analyze texts and collaborate with classmates. It inspires me to think about how education can be improved in our school as well.
Living in Japan also teaches me valuable life lessons. I have learned to manage my time better, live independently, and adapt to cultural differences. Although it was difficult at first, I realize that stepping out of my comfort zone has made me stronger and more confident.
When I return, I plan to share my experience with our teachers and friends. I believe we can adopt some of the positive practices from Japan to make our learning environment more creative and effective. I really wish you could join me next time in such a program! Best regards, Anna
