Jakarta Launches New Policy to Reduce Air Pollution

Jakarta’s provincial government officially launched a new policy this Monday to tackle worsening air pollution in the capital. The policy includes an expansion of the odd-even traffic rule, stricter emissions testing for vehicles, and an increase in public transportation services. The governor stated that the measures aim to protect public health and encourage citizens to shift toward eco-friendly transport options.
